Podcasts
What has the immediacy and impact of a face-to-face conversation but can still reach thousands of employees across multiple locations? The answer is a podcast produced by Axiom.
Axiom's approach
Our podcasts are audio programmes enhanced with graphics and delivered through your company's intranet or a standalone website. They can be used to support any kind of employee engagement activity – from a big-bang launch of a new strategy to a regular update on an important project.
We can produce podcasts for people to listen to on their work PC or to download to their phone, tablet or MP3 player to play when they want.
As an alternative, we've found one of the most effective ways of delivering podcasts is to arrange for employees to get together in small teams to listen to the programme. We then run a telephone conference in which they can put questions to a panel of managers and subject experts. Afterwards, we can edit together the whole package including the Q&A and make it available for people to listen again at their leisure.
Axiom's podcast pedigree
Axiom has been making high-quality audio programmes since the mid-1990s – first on audio tape, then CD and now for podcasting.
Our podcasts are made to broadcast standard by BBC-trained producers. Our professional presenters make them entertaining and informative. They balance asking the tough questions that employees want answered with helping interviewees come across well.
To augment what people are hearing, we add eye-catching graphics. These can include photographs of the speakers, key words and infographics.
Not only are podcasts a powerful communication solution, they're also easier to produce. For instance, we can interview people by phone rather than on location – this can be less taxing and more convenient for senior management interviews and means no-one has to set foot on a plane.
The end result? High-impact, lasting, cost-effective communication.
