Internal communication strategies and plans

At Axiom, we help you devise an internal communication strategy and plan. We start by asking:

  • What do you want people to think differently?
  • What do you want people to feel differently?
  • What do you want people to do differently?

Then we work with you on a strategy and plan that will deliver the results you want - whether the organisation is looking to use internal communication to execute a major change or to improve overall employee engagement.

The first step in our best-practice approach is to help you articulate your key messages and shape them into a convincing narrative (or internal communication ‘manifesto'). As part of this, we'll facilitate discussions with members of your leadership team.

We'll also look to involve frontline employees. We often recommend that you form a ‘sounding board' - a group of people drawn from across the organisation at all levels who are comfortable expressing their views and can help develop your internal communication to meet the needs of their colleagues.

Once your communication goals, messages, principles and governance approach are agreed, we'll work with you to identify the right channels and tactics and bring it all together in a detailed internal communication plan.

We then have the capabilities to help you deliver as much of the plan as you want us to through our range of communication solutions and communication skills workshops.
