The write stuff!

We designed and ran training for communicators at Manchester City Council to help them produce better newsletters for residents of the city.

In a highly participative workshop full of practical exercises, we covered how to spot a story, how to capture readers’ attention, the key principles of good writing and editing, and how to make best use of pictures. The workshop encouraged delegates to share their ideas and good practices, identify their current strengths and areas for improvement, and commit to practical actions to improve the newsletters they were responsible for.
